[rescue] Fwd: Sun 13w3 to VGA to HDMI

The saga continues.B  I bought two vga to hdmi converters. Neither worked
with the 13w3 to vga cable/converter I've been using successfully with
the Sparc10 and various other monitors via their vga input ports.

So I thought it good to test the vga-HDMI converters with a real vga
output, namely what my Y2000 +/- Compaq Armada M300 emits. One of the
converters worked fine, the other not at all.

It is possible on the Armada to try a number of resolution - frequency
combinations going to the VGA connector. I did and they all worked so
the converter that worked, the one with the improbable name, GANA, could
handle anything from 60 to 75 Hz.

Maybe the 13w3 to VGA cable/converter has some problem that the GANA
doesn't like but that my other monitors are not bothered by.

I have another converterB  on order and we'll see how that works.
