There are a couple of solutions that I use, and both work very, very well.
First, I have Extron RGB-HDMI 300a scalers, and they handle all Sun
resolutions that the frame buffers that I have generate.
Second, there is the Raspberry Pi based RGB-HDMI adapter, which is
open source, and located here:
