[rescue] Sun 3/80 resources

Oh of course. Sorry, I was thinking NVRAM clock, not overclocking the CPU.
Yeah these machines are becoming pretty rare so I would probably not monkey
around too much with board circuitry unless you have a bunch of spares
laying around. I replaced the video socket on my color framebuffer and that
was a challenge even with my Hakko de-soldering machine, but I ended up
being successful with that.
Also be very careful with the plastic bezel as the plastic is becoming
really fragile.
Sure, id be happy to offer any pointers - I'm still trying to figure this
beast out as well though and haven't installed SunOS on it yet. Tape
installs are pretty hard these days with the inventory of good tapes. And
this machine doesn't boot from CDrom. I happen to have a Copy of SunOS
4.1.4 for Sun3 on CD but its useless for booting this machine. I have to
figure out some kind of net boot tactic. I know the info is out there but
haven't had the time to dive into it. Are you aware of the Sun3 Archive?
