I endorse this idea even though it makes no sense, having always
regretting giving away my accelerated Apple //e in the mid-90's.
I bought one from one from a Goodwill auction a few years ago and
restored it.

I only saw them in Apple II/IIe's but according to the below you can
get it to work in a IIgs... http://roger.geek.nz/apple2/cpm.html

I just want to point out that you can build a SC-126[1] or RC-2014[2]
to get your Z80 and CP/M ya-yas on (I did).
