Once upon a lifetime ago, I had ran an office with 10 users on a DG
Aviion 400 (dual cpu & I got them to upgrade us to 64mb _&_ 2.5 gb of
SCSI disk! The users had NCD 16 X-terminals on their desktops. 68k
processor and 1.5 mb ram. Beautiful setup. We had an Ingres database,
Word Perfect and some oddball spreadsheet that I can't remember. Damn
near as perfect an office system as you could hope for.

But it was a state government agency and in the name of "savings" we
were forced to consolidate support and move to Windows XP. Major step
backwards but everyone here knows that story...

The NCD X-terminals were a fine solution and I wish people would have
understood it better.
