[rescue] Ultra 1 boot from install CD fails

I can't speak to Todd's exact situation, but I exclusively use ZuluSCSI with a host of retro machines (including ultra 1e) and have had 100% success rate. That doesn't rule out a bad iso or two, but I am doubtful a different burn will solve this problem
