What kind of issues? The only one I've really heard about is where
the 98-00's models are rusting in the chasis. There is of course the
problem of the breaks, but that's easily fixable. Most of what I saw
online was people praising them. :)

About 5 years ago I almost bought one... I probally should
have. But it too was in pretty bad condition. I'd love to have a
reconditioned one, but I told my self that I'd never buy a car over
$8k. :)

This is my first Ford, I've had Chevy's before. So far I like
it. I've never been passionate about a car before, nor had one that I just
like to drive around. :) I do feel it was better then most the other Fords
I test drove, from Escort to F350. It handles like the Escort, but feels
like the F350. :)
