This is not an any-end desktop machine; it's a 1U rackmount.

I'm not sure I do - though, if it's doing "browser" anything, that
_will_ get disabled, one way or another, before it goes anywhere near a
live network jack.  So far I have not seen caught it doing anything I
object to, except not connecting the back-panel connector to the host
by default.  But, until it's running an OS and software I built, I
won't trust it to be doing what - and only what - I think it's doing.
Too many people have been caught leaving backdoors in such things for
me to trust that _this_ time there are no backdoors.

Besides, it sounds like an interesting challenge, if the documentation
is available.

And, on principle, I'd rather my machine run what _I_ want it to run
anyway.
