I don't have the 2- or 4-port version of a PRO/1000 installed anywhere
at the moment, but I think a 1-port (PCI, not PCIe) looks like this:

Fwiw I'm almost positive I used older incarnations of PRO/1000 in NetBSD
before, but I couldn't say which versions; I know I've done in FreeBSD,
