I got a SparcServer 1000 in 2004 and in 2015 also the SparcStorage Array 100. It took quite some work to find the correct fiber cables (modern cables are not compatible). I now have this running under Solaris 2.3. I put disks in it ranging in size from 1.05GB to 18.0GB. Of the 18GB disks, only the first 16GB is used/accessible.

Walter.
